The President of the Polish Rectors Foundation, at the invitation from The Polish Confederation in Kazakhstan, visited Astana from the 24th to 29th of October 2012.
During his stay, Professor Jerzy Woźnicki visited a memorial complex "Alżyr" - The Museum of Victims of Political Repression and Totalitarianism in Stalinist period and laid flowers at the commemorative monument. Moreover, Professor met i.a. with Representatives of the Polish Embassy. The Polish Rectors Foundation is interested in taking part in publication on this topic, an initiative undertaken by the Polish Embassy in Kazakhstan.
