On 24-25 January 2019 The Europe-Ukraine Forum „Ukraine After 2019. A Change or a Continuation?” was held in Rzeszow. This event was prepared by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.

The 12th Forum traditionally referred to economic and political cooperation among Ukraine and Western countries, to the development of Eastern Partnership, but particular topic was  the continuation of reforms and modernisation of Ukraine in the situation of future presidential elections and parliamentary elections, which will be held in 2019. The Forum became an arena for communication, networking and exchange of ideas for Ukrainian, Polosh, European politicians, officials and policy makers, variuos institutions and organisations, researchers, NGOs, other stakeholders.

The President of the Polish Rectors Foundation prof. J.Woźnicki, leader of the Polish-Ukrainian project, and program coordinator Iryna Degtyarova were also invited to to join the Forum. Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki took part in the panel discussion „Investing in the Future – International Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education”. During the debate prof. J.Woźnicki presented the achievements of the Polish-Ukrainian academic cooperation at the level of national conferences of rectors and a new project “Polish – Ukrainian cooperation of academic stakeholder organisations representing rectors for improving university performance” which is being conducted by the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the national conferences of rectors in Poland (CRASP) and Ukraine (URHEIU) with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.
