The XXth PRF School on Strategic Governance in Higher Education for Chancellors and Bursars / Financial Directors was held on June 3-6, 2018 at the Conference Center of the Hotel "Zamek Biskupi" in Janow Podlaski, with the support of the Institute of Knowledge Society.
The project School of Strategic Governance has been being implemented according to the Program of Permanent Projects in the system of improvement of managerial staff of higher education institutions, as part of the strategic partnership CRASP-PRF.
60 participants from 31 HEIs took part in the School. Training program consisted of 8 sessions, 2 workshops on the university statutes and 3 panel debates on the following topics related to higher education:
- Academic staff and personal data in higher education
• New university statutes: conditions, opportunities, dilemmas, variants
• Informatization, digitalization and analytics as tools supporting the university performance.
Among the lecturers we had: professor Łukasz Sułkowski, President of Public Consulting Group Poland; Ewa Trojanowska, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; Paulina Dawidczyk, Director of the Health, Employment and Education Sector Department of the Personal Data Protection Office; Agnieszka Kurzyńska, Strategic Director in the Public Administration Segment Wolters Kluwer Polska; Magdalena Matuszewska, Director of Market Development Regulatory Software Wolters Kluwer Polska, dr Tomasz Jędrzejewski, Member of the Strategic Problems of Higher Education Committee of CRASP; Andrzej Kabat, Director of the branch of Bank PEKAO S.A .; Bartosz Wasilewski, Director of the Office of Medium Public Sector Units; Maria Branecka, Expert in matters of public finance; dr inż. Jacek Oko, Deputy Chancellor for informatization at the Wrocław University of Technology; Leszek Lewoc, Director for International Development PCG Polska, and professor Jerzy Woźnicki, leader of the School.
