Since 2020, as part of a strategic partnership, experts from the Polish Rectors Foundation (FRP) and Polish Scientific Publishers PWN have been jointly analyzing modern educational solutions and exploring the future development of Open Science tools.

Consultation meetings dedicated to Digital Learning Solutions, Open Science, and the future of scholarly communication in Europe and Poland are regularly held at the FRP–ISW headquarters.

To support PWN’s efforts to implement the principles of Open Science in its publishing processes, FRP experts prepared a report titled “Open Science in the Context of Contemporary Trends in Scholarly Communication.”
The report presents an overview of key issues along with conclusions and recommendations for the publisher.

In 2021, FRP and PWN jointly carried out a project that included a survey titled “Digital Learning Solutions in Higher Education,” addressed to senior academic staff and students of medical faculties.
Based on the study, a report was prepared presenting model solutions for the effective implementation of digital learning tools in the field of medical and health sciences.

In 2022, a survey titled “New Technologies in the Work of an Academic Teacher” was conducted.
The results provided valuable insights into the needs of the academic community regarding the types of digital tools and content used in teaching and research.

In 2023, a study titled “Analysis of Areas for Building the Scientist’s Personal Brand and Career Development” was carried out.
The aim of the analysis was to better understand how researchers build their personal brands using modern information technologies.

In 2024, another study titled “New Technologies in the Work of an Academic Teacher” was completed.
The goal was to identify the most effective ways to meet the needs of academic teachers in terms of functional support for achieving high-quality outcomes in the educational process.
