In 2015 a publication came out: "Higher Education: A Worldwide Inventory of Research Centers, Academic Programs, and Journals and Publications. 3rd Edition." which included the report about the most important research centers, which carry out studies on higher education in various countries in the world. International experts indicated only two  institutions in Poland, which are recognizable in the world: Centre for Public Policy Studies in University of  Poznan (Director: Prof. Marek Kwiek) and think-tank Polish Rectors Foundation - Institute of Knowledge Society (President: Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki).

On 9 October 2015, the President of the Polish Rectors Foundation, Prof. Jerzy  Woźnicki participated in the inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2014/2015 at the Katowice School of Economics. Professor Jerzy Woźnicki gave a lecture "How and whether does social dialogue in the higher education systems takes place?".

On 6 October 2015, the President of the Polish Rectors Foundation, Prof. Jerzy  Woźnicki participated in the inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2014/2015 at the Lublin University of Technology. Professor Jerzy Woźnicki gave a lecture "Higher education in Poland - how to regulate and if there is a need to change the system?".

The President of PRF, Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki took part in the debate "Dziennika Gazety Prawnej" about higher education entitled: "What should be changed in the higher education system in Poland so that polish universities will become as good as Harvard, as well as what has failed in the previous reforms in higher education and how does the demographic decline influence  the functioning of universities and the quality of education". The relation of the meeting was published in the newspaper "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" on 1 October 2015.

The participants of the discussion were also: the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education - Prof. Marek Ratajczak, the President of the Polish Accreditation Committee - Prof. Marek Rocki, the President of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland  - Prof. Wiesław Banyś, Vice President of the Conference of Rectors of Public Vocational Schools - Prof. Julian Bystrzanowski,  the Student Ombudsman - Justyna Rokita and the President of the National Representation of PhD Students - Michał Gajda.

On 30 September 2015, the President of the Polish Rectors Foundation, Prof. Jerzy  Woźnicki participated in the inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2014/2015 at the Silesian University of Technology. Professor Jerzy Woźnicki gave a lecture "The opportunities of development of  the knowledge sector in the light of latest program documents".

The annual meeting of the Founders Assembly of the Polish Rectors Foundation and the Institute of Society Knowledge, traditionally as an academic seminar with  invited guests, was held on 18 September 2015 at the Polish Rectors Foundation in Warsaw.

On 25 August 2015 at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister the meeting of  representatives of the scientific circles took place, with the head of the government Ewa Kopacz.

The Prime Minister addressed to the representatives of the Polish universities the challenges faced by our educational system and its financing. The meeting was as a result of the correspondence:

On 8 July 2015  the President of PRF Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki was a guest of the morning audition in the I Polish Radio.

On 3 July 2015, during the ceremony of the University of  Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the President of Polish Rectors Foundation Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki was awarded Doctor Honoris Causa of these academic school.
