On 24-25 January 2019 The Europe-Ukraine Forum „Ukraine After 2019. A Change or a Continuation?” was held in Rzeszow. This event was prepared by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.
The Project “Polish – Ukrainian cooperation of academic stakeholder organisations representing rectors for improving university performance” is conducted by the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the national conferences of rectors in Poland (CRASP) and Ukraine (URHEIU) with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.
On 27 November 2018 the 4th edition of the annual Conference LUMEN 2018 - Leaders in University Management for the university leaders was held in Warsaw. The main organizer of the LUMEN conference is the PCG Academia. The honorary patronage of the Conference was given by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland Jarosław Gowin, and other institutions. Substantive contribution to the conference was ensured by the Polish Rectors Foundation.
On September 27, 2018, the Polish Rectors Foundation organized a seminar for the senior managers of the strategic partners of PRF-IKS: PCG Poland, PCG Academia, Pearson Central Europe, devoted to higher education development in Ukraine and new systemic conditions of the university functioning.
The Strategic Problems of Higher Education Committee of CRASP issued the Report No. 7 "Schedule for the implementation of the most significant changes resulting from the entry into force of Act 2.0 - a list of deadlines and requirements in the Act of 3 July 2018 Law introducing the Law Act on Higher Education and Science.”
The XXth PRF School on Strategic Governance in Higher Education for Chancellors and Bursars / Financial Directors was held on June 3-6, 2018 at the Conference Center of the Hotel "Zamek Biskupi" in Janow Podlaski, with the support of the Institute of Knowledge Society.
On June 22-23, 2018 delegation of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) and Polish Rectors Foundation (PRF) took part in the Ukrainian-Polish Rectors' Seminar, devoted to the issues of the activities of national rectors’ conferences in Europe and current trends in higher education governance, which was organised by the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine (URHEIU) at Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University in Lutsk, Ukraine.
On April 25, 2018, on behalf of the acting jointly Polish Rectors Foundation - Institute of Knowledge Society, professor Jerzy Woźnicki signed a cooperation agreement on a strategic partnership with the Polish Scientific Publishers PWN.
The Strategic Problems of Higher Education Committee of CRASP issued Report No. 6 entitled "Selected proposals for changes to the governmental draft law Act on Higher Education and Science, dated March 26, 2018".
On 5 March 2018, the President of Polish Rectors Foundation Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki was awarded Doctor Honoris Causa by the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He has been recognized for the significant contribution to the development of academic cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish universities, supporting and initiating cooperation between national conferences of rectors, strengthening friendships and mutual understanding between Poland and Ukraine, as well as for many years of creative partnership with the Kiev University.
